If you've tagged, you would realize that what i'm gonna say now is kinda familiar.
Something that I didn't mention on the previous entry was about the
EQUIPMENT.
Before I share about what I've learnt on the trip, allow me to say something pertaining to the equipment...
In my opinion, I think our school's equipment is kinda limited with just basic 3pt "red head" lightings, a monitor and a camera . It's time for some UPGRADE!
I actually asked a "Film, Sound & Video"(FSV) graduate who's working here and asked them about their familiarity with the equipment here(UpsideDownConcepts) and they told me that their school has even more than what's here.
Again, what they have here in UDC is easily 10X more than what my campus has. I understand that we are not "Film, Sound & Video" but I still think we should have "A BITTTT" more luh, at least. Perhaps we, mass commers, are more of communications student then all these technical based students. (I really struggle with the equipments they asked me to load the van when we're going for shoot. The list of names are just so alienated. sobsobT.T)
Here are some pictures of the equipments in the storeroom still lingering around. I don't dare to unpack them... So, what you see is what I've got.
Cabin full of cams(left), boxes of different lighting equipments(right back)
If you think our sch camera is pricey, this is worse!
Cost price: S$30,000
Beside the black drawers, the black boxes leaning against it are the advance lightings call the "Kinoflo"
Just look at the wide variety of stands they have!
Now, let's talk a bit on the actual shoot. Hmm, 2nd time going out to shoot; this is was actually producing an advertisement for "No Signboard Seafood" restaurant located at the 3rd level of VivoCity. A bit more familiarized with the equipment they use now.(at least a few more now) It's bad shooting for restaurant! haha! You just can't help it to hold the lights or camera and not to start drooling when the director says "ACTION". The food is just too tempting for mouth. It feels like as if your mouth's going to snap off your face. REALLY!
Just you see! (look out for the madly gigantic legendary king crab! It costs madly-ly S$400!

At the end if you think I left the restaurant having those lobsters and king crab sliding down my digestive system, I tell you, they took it all back into the kitchen! T.T
what we could have been, 2:59 下午.
